A cure for a weary Union

Miracle needed The challenges facing the Union are well known But no one has come up with solutions - yet The Convention on the Future of Europe is supposed to come up with a solution just short of a miracle. It has to resolve complex problems that Europe ’s political leaders have swept under the carpet for over a decade. The objective is to realise two goals:increasing both efficiency and legitimacy. There is no lack of analyses of the problems Europe is facing but we still need a coherent vision of the new EU. The Convention is not about to propose a constitutional revolution.
