Children have abandoned physical play
Computers are both part of the problem and the solution
Children’s way of playing has changed a lot during the last couple of decades. Our children have become more obsessed with toys such as computers that do not involve much physical activity. This has led to a new problem: obese children. It is vital to human development and a key to learning, writes Bruce Sterling, Visionary in Residence at the Art Center College of Design.
